Anticipation Builds as Teams Prepare for Major Event
The draw for the UEFA Euro 2024 has been made, setting the stage for a thrilling tournament in Germany next summer. The competition, which will take place from June 14 to July 14, will feature 24 teams competing for the coveted Henri Delaunay Trophy.
The draw has divided the teams into six groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, along with the four best third-placed teams.
Defending champions Italy will face England, Ukraine, and North Macedonia in Group A. Hosts Germany will square off against Portugal, Spain, and the Netherlands in Group B. Group C will see France go head-to-head with Belgium, Switzerland, and Israel.
Group D features Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, and Kazakhstan. Poland, Slovakia, Finland, and San Marino will compete in Group E. Group F consists of Serbia, Hungary, Montenegro, and the Faroe Islands.
The tournament will open with a match between Italy and England at the Allianz Arena in Munich on June 14. The final will be played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on July 14.
