Las Vegas Aces End Three-Game Skid

Las Vegas Aces forward A'ja Wilson put up a dominant performance, leading her team to a much-needed 90-72 victory over the Chicago Sky on Sunday afternoon.

Wilson was unstoppable in the paint, finishing with a game-high 30 points on 12-of-17 shooting. She also hauled in 14 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and blocked 2 shots.

The Aces (18-10) snapped a three-game losing streak with the win, while the Sky (16-12) dropped their second straight game.

Aces Dominate Inside

Wilson was not the only Aces player who had a big game in the paint. Center Liz Cambage added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while forward Dearica Hamby chipped in with 12 points and 9 rebounds.

The Aces outrebounded the Sky 50-34 and scored 44 points in the paint compared to just 28 for the Sky.

Sky Struggle from Three

The Sky were ice cold from three-point range, making just 5 of 24 attempts (20.8%). The Aces, on the other hand, knocked down 8 of 20 threes (40%).

The Sky's leading scorer was guard Kahleah Copper, who finished with 20 points. However, she was just 6-of-17 from the field and 1-of-7 from three-point range.

The Aces will host the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night, while the Sky will travel to Dallas to face the Wings on Wednesday night.
