Only Fools and Horses is looking likely to make a return to our screens with Sir David Jason hinting at a potential Del Boy reboot!
The iconic British sitcom, which originally aired from 1981 to 2003, followed the misadventures of two wheeler-dealing brothers, Del Boy and Rodney Trotter, as they tried to make their fortune.
Now, it seems that Del Boy could be back on our screens, with Sir David Jason suggesting that he is open to the idea of a reboot.
In a recent interview, the 83-year-old actor said: "I think there's a good chance that Only Fools and Horses will come back. I've had a few conversations with the BBC and ITV about it, and they're both very interested."
Jason went on to say that he believes a reboot would be successful, as the show still has a huge following.
"I think people would love to see it," he said. "Only Fools and Horses is one of those shows that people just never get tired of."
If a reboot does happen, it is likely to be a one-off special rather than a full series.
This would allow the show's creators to bring back the original cast, including Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst (Rodney), and Sue Holderness (Marlene).
Only Fools and Horses is one of the most popular British sitcoms of all time.
It has won numerous awards, including two BAFTAs, and has been watched by millions of viewers around the world.
A reboot of the show would be sure to be a major event, and it would be great to see Del Boy and Rodney back on our screens.
