Djokovic Sets Records with Paris Masters Victory
World number one Novak Djokovic completed a terrific week by setting two more records in winning the Rolex Paris Masters on Sunday.
Djokovic overcame Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the final to secure his sixth Paris Masters title, moving him clear of Andre Agassi in the all-time winners list.
The 34-year-old Serb, who had already secured his place as the year-end world number one for a record-extending seventh time on Saturday, also became the first player to win four Masters titles in a single season five times.
Djokovic's victory in Paris was his 37th Masters title overall, moving him two ahead of Rafael Nadal. He is now just three behind the all-time record of 38 held by Nadal.
The win also gives Djokovic a boost heading into the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy, which start on Sunday.
