Tignanello 2018: A Masterpiece of Italian Winemaking
A Vertical Tasting Reveals the Evolution of a Tuscan Icon
Paragraph 1:
Today, Tignanello is one of the most celebrated Super Tuscan wines, producing approximately 300,000 bottles annually. However, its journey began much earlier, as DBS Italian wine correspondent Filippo Bartolotta discovered during a vertical tasting that spanned back to the 1983 vintage.
Paragraph 2:
Tignanello 2018 presents itself in an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it impresses with its alluring aromas of ripe red fruit, complemented by notes of spice, tobacco, and a hint of balsamic. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish.
