PSG Appoints Christophe Galtier as New Manager

On Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) officially announced the appointment of Christophe Galtier as their new manager. The move comes after the departure of Mauricio Pochettino, who left the club at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Galtier, a former defender, has a long and successful coaching career. He led Lille to the Ligue 1 title in 2021 and has also had spells in charge of Saint-Étienne and Nice. He is known for his attacking style of play and is expected to bring a new dimension to PSG's team.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi said: "We are delighted to welcome Christophe Galtier to Paris Saint-Germain. He is one of the most respected managers in Europe and has a proven track record of success. We are confident that he will help us achieve our goals and continue to build on the success we have had in recent years."
Galtier's appointment has been widely welcomed by PSG fans. The club is hoping that he can lead them to their first UEFA Champions League title, something that has eluded them for many years.
